Junior Research Group Leader (m/f/d) in the field of "Food Processing and Health"12.03.2024, Wissenschaftliches Personal ZIEL - Institute for Food & Health is a central institute of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) that conducts interdisciplinary research at the interface of food, nutrition and health sciences. The development of sustainable food systems and the prevention of nutrition-related diseases are complex topics with high social relevance. ZIEL established a strong scientific expertise and visibility in the research areas of microbiome and metabolism, hosting DFG funded Collaborative Research Centers (CRC1371, Microbiome Signatures; TRR 333 Brown and Beige Fat). The Junior Group is expected to establish an excellent research track addressing various aspects of the food chain, from raw materials and their processing to the biomedical evaluation of food in terms of the prevention of nutrition-related diseases.
