Job description: The aim of this project is to comprehensively study the role of Wnt/β-catenin tumor cell signaling for activation and functionality of the tumor immune microenvironment in hepatocellular carcinoma using patient-derived 3D model systems and high-dimensional immune cell profiling. Your work will give insights into the potential of Wnt/β-catenin signaling as a targetable candidate pathway to improve tumor susceptibility to immunotherapy for the continuously rising number of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
